Additionally, Virigin Mobile made their first appearance ever at this year’s Career Fair.
The Alumni Office also provided other materials to attendees such as informational videos posted on social media that included career tips from successful alumni. Attendees also got a chance to look at the Career Fair Magazine which offered business insight by industry experts and shared the stories of successful peers in the job market.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) participation in GUST virtual career fair comes in line with KFH’s efforts in acquiring and qualifying the national talents.
KFH has achieved great ratios in nationalization. KFH is keen on maintaining high levels of benefits to its employees and new recruits. The bank encourages its staff to be certified and highly qualified by providing them with all training programs they need to enable them to enjoy productive and satisfying careers. KFH continues its efforts to be a leader in the field of talent development, particularly national labor by attracting, training and qualifying young graduates.
Boubyan Bank is one of the most supportive institutions of Kuwaiti youths in various fields, especially in their employment and training at the bank and continuing their development for the future of Kuwait.
The bank’s sponsorship of GUST’s virtual career fair is a real opportunity to introduce this significant role undertaken by the bank as a part of its social responsibility.
Boubyan is a Kuwaiti bank working in compliance with the provisions of the Noble Islamic Sharia. In 2004, it was the first bank to be established through public subscription by Kuwaiti citizens, and now the bank tops the pyramid of Kuwaiti banks offering digital banking services, leading the bank to be named the World's Best Islamic Digital Bank for the sixth consecutive year by Global Finance.
In 2010, the bank was ranked 9th among Kuwaiti banks in terms of financial indicators, however, it has grown to being the 3rd now in terms of market shares and many other financial indicators.
Many years ago, the bank established Boubyan Digital Innovation Center “DIC” that pooled top talent across the bank. It operated like a lean start-up within the bank. The DIC was tasked with digitizing existing journeys, developing digitally native services and relaunching the entire mobile banking platform through DIC, which started with only five employees and now has over 100 employees.
Boubyan is the best bank in customer service in Kuwait, and has been named the Best Bank in Customer Service in Kuwait for the eleventh year in a row by Service Hero, the international consumer-driven customer satisfaction index. Meanwhile, national manpower is the main pillar in the bank, which is evidence by the bank’s recruitment of Kuwaiti youths who account for more than 78% of our human resources.
Furthermore, the bank takes pride in being one of the most supporters of SMEs and in being the first bank to establish an SMEs’ Unit. Boubyan is also a role model for institutions involved in CSR initiatives as it has undertaken more than 500 initiatives and sponsorships to support various sectors over the past 5 years.
The bank has proved its far-sightedness as its strategy has succeeded in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic through the provision of almost all services (more than 90%) through digital channels, which helped the bank provide the highest levels of service to customers during curfew time and total lockdown.
